Family Pics

Just before Mother's day we decided to have some family pics taken, mostly because we wanted to share our good news about baby number two, but also because we definitely were do for some. Since we planned these really last minute, there were a few issues:

My hair desperately needs a cut and color {I'm pretending that I am pulling off the Ombre look, even though I know I'm not}.

Our outfit choices were limited with my pregnant body.

I've been breaking out like a teenager, only worse than I ever used to {It's apparent in these photos}.

We had ALOT of wind.

Jared fell asleep on the way down and waking him up for the photos made for a grumpy, sad little boy for the whole first half of the session, which we didn't have very much time for in the first place.

Our photos were never edited because we really wanted to get them back for Mother's Day.

Despite all of these things, I think they turned out pretty good! Especially the ones of Jared. I love these photos. I feel like they capture exactly who this little guy is at this time in his life. I love my little super hero!

I am so grateful for my darling friend Mindy who was willing to take these for us, especially so last minute! She is the best!

{I really hate that I didn't put a space between the + and the "one". I blame it on pregnancy brain. Oh well.}

{This was the best one of the three of us together. All the other ones showed how windy it was and one or all of us were making some weird pose or face. Maybe next time will go a little better?}
