Ok, I realize that Jared's birthday was clear back in September, but I had to post it currently. It was too much fun not to share and lets face it, no one goes back months and months on blogs {at least, probably, on this one}. I am REALLY behind on posting, so I am trying to catch up while I have time. Don't be too surprised when you see more posts that should have been greeting you months and months ago.
Anyway, my sweet Jared turned...
Yes, 3! I can hardly believe it myself. Jared has been obsessed with dinosaurs for a while now, so it was only fitting to throw a themed party around his current obsession. {FYI, he moved on shortly after his party to super heros}.
At this party we ate delicious food.
Had "Root Beer", Jared's name for all soda. Root Beer is actually his favorite soda, so it works.
We played dinosaur themed games.
We had dinosaur themed activities and toys.
We dug for T-Rex bones.
This was such a fun activity for the kids. It was interesting trying to figure out a temporary sand pit, but it worked out and the kids loved it!
We had dinosaur themed decorations
We visited, laughed, and enjoyed one another's company.
We had delicious cake. My MIL made these for Jared and I added some touches to the top. She was a life saver for baking these.
Jared made a wish on one of his cakes.
We did more activities.
The kids played with puppies. Okay, the obsessed over the puppies and dragged them around as much as they could.
We hatched dinosaur eggs.
Papa Juggled.
Jared opened presents.
After he opened the first couple of presents he was no longer interested in opening the rest. The first ones were exciting enough. He ended up having a melt down after we tried to make him open more, heaven forbid, but by the end he was really glad we made him because at the end he got his big Toothless Dragon. It's still a favorite toy of his.
We sent home favors.
Jared gave each of his guests a bag with a dinosaur fossil {tutorial coming soon}, a chocolate dinosaur sucker, dino tattoos, and a personalized dinosaur sticker book. He was so excited to give these to his friends {cousins}.

Sheri - you have the cutest ideas and you execute them so well! I am jealous. I only wish I was as good as you!
What an awesome party! You did an amazing job! I'm going to pin this ;)
Melissa, you do the cutest things too! I've been meaning to thank you for the cute calendar you sent us! It was such a darling, thoughtful gift. You are probably WAY more on top of things than I am though, and that is probably why you are just hearing this from me. Thanks for being so sweet. :)
Amy, you are so sweet as well! I don't know that it is worthy of being pinned, but thank you. I love all your pins! I know I for sure have a pinning addiction that I don't think I will give up for a long time. I love seeing your pins, because I feel like it lets me get to know you better in such a fun, fun way! :)
