Old Guys

Once a year Mountain View holds their Alumni Lacrosse game and all the former players come back to play the current lacrosse team. It is so much fun to watch. The young guys always call the alumni team the "old guys" or "old farts." The old guys usually have much better stick skills, but most of them are pretty out of shape, while the young guys have poor stick skills but are in great shape. In the end the young guys usually get creamed. Steve played really well and got several scores and some really great plays {though I don't know how much bragging rights you actually get in a game like this. ;)}.

Jared and I loved going to old games to watch Dad play, and to watch him coach. I sometimes miss it now that he is no longer doing either one, so I am glad we got to reminisce a little bit.
