So during the month of February, I received five jury summons--five! Maybe that's not very many, but it seemed like a lot for one month. Anyway, one of them I forgot to call on and they ended up having trial the next day. Because I missed, the court appointed me five hours of community service to be completed by the end of the month, and required that I serve on jury duty. So after nearly four weeks of Jared and I being really sick, and a couple of weeks trying to find some way to complete my service, I was able to finally get a hold of someone from the Food and Care Coalition, and she told me that I could bake 150 cup cakes and she would give me three hours for it. I was so excited about the offer, I took it without really thinking about how much work it was going to be. Nearly six hours later and much help from Steve, I had made 150 cup cakes and frosted them! It was so crazy! I finished my community service by doing work at the Springville library cleaning books and organizing them. Needless to say, I certainly learned my lesson... don't forget to call on jury duty!!! Though I still have a hard time remembering to do many things, even after I write them down, I will never forget about that. :) It actually turned out being a really good experience and it felt good to do some service for our community. The Food and Care Coalition still needs many items donated, so if you are looking for a good service opportunity, they are a good way to go.

add to that all the ones you made for relief society and I think you met you cup cake quota! Even those ones are super cute.
