We planned a party this year for Jared, but since his birthday fell on a weekday, we decided to make a day of it and take him to see the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point, followed by the little animal farm, followed by dinner at IHOP, to have Jared's favorite food. Waffles. It was such a fun day for all of us. We rarely get to go out and do very much as a family, so it was a treat. :)
Jared went crazy over just about everything on our little outing. He loved the sharks, T-rex, TT tops (Triceratops), and long neck.
They have this little place at the museum that you can dig for dinosaurs. We probably spent a good forty-five minutes there. You may be wondering why Jared is dressed like Buzz Lightyear. Well I'll tell you. We had just gotten his Halloween costume and he was so excited to wear it. He kept begging and begging, so we figured that since it was his special day he could be Buzz Lightyear. Jared also liked it if we referred to him as Buzz. It was so funny.
After we got to play some more in the dirt to uncover dinosaur fossils. This is Jared, I mean Buzz, ready to unearth some bones.
